The 2017 CrossFit Games Open begins Feb. 23rd. The Open is a 5 week world wide online CrossFit competition. The workouts are released every Thursday at 6pm (much like the Row'd Royalty competition.) We do The Open workouts every Friday night at 5:30pm. Everyone who officially registers for The Open can workout for free Friday night at 5:30pm. There is a TON of support from lots of terrific world-class coaches for mobility, movement prep, tips and strategies for all of the workouts. It's a super fun time to be a CrossFitter. We will be hosting our 2nd Intramural Open. This is an in-gym team competition. We will form two teams who will battle it out each week for best costume, first Rx'd, Spirit of The Open and other categories to be announced. Registration for The Open has begun! Let's Do This!
This workout, from the 2015 CrossFit Games Open, tests your work capacity, endurance, stamina, power, speed, explosiveness, and mental toughness. It has a "prescribed scaling" which is common to all CrossFit Games Open workouts starting in 2015. The Open starts in about 40 days. Are you ready?
