Duane, Corporal Hansen, joined the United States Army in 2001. It was during his military medical indoctrination that he discovered we was color blind. Duane served 8 years in the US Army as an Administrative Specialist. He was deployed for 343 days to Baghdad in 2005 during Operation Iraq Freedom where he worked for General Granger, Surgeon General of Iraq in OIF III. He helped all the subordinate hospitals and clinics manage goods not ordered through normal Army Channels, such as computers, SUVs, and CAT Scanners.
In the US, he was a Reservist who worked as a Unit Administrator for several Montana units, the 125th Ordinance Battalion, based in Billings, and the 592nd Ordinance Company based in Butte, deployed to Ft Carson. He spent his last year with the 4225th US Army Hospital based in Helena. He created his partner workout because while it is an Army of One, you need each other to get shit done. Corporal Hansen's Hammer With a Partner 8 Rounds for Time to honor his years of service 4 partner deadlifts 495/305lbs to honor his rank, E-4 4 Tire Flips with jump into (or onto) and over because tires go flat in the desert Rest 2 Mins, then 343 m Buddy carry - switch who carries who as needed - 343m to honor each day he was in Iraq. Don't worry, we have a suitable substitution if weather does not allow for safe buddy carries outside.
