We've been rowing quite a bit, and it's exciting to see everyone's technique improve! Your racing starts are fast and strong and you're holding your splits well. Today's workout, Jackie, starts with a 1000m row. Pick a quick pace and stick with it. There's no need for negative splits or a sprint at the end. The key to a good Jackie time is a fast row, and large sets (or unbroken) thrusters and pull-ups. The weight is light...get after it!
We have formed our official Whole Life Challenge team and we already have 5 players registered. Many of you have expressed interest in playing. You should! We had great results on our last challenge and folks seem to be continuing with the good nutrition, hydration, exercise, mobility, supplementation and other lifestyle choices we practiced. You can register for our team here. One reason so many of us were successful with the Whole Life Challenge is that you can choose your nutrition level challenge. You can really go for the gusto with the Performance level, or you can choose the Lifestyle level, which allows a glass of wine and a few other indulgences. If you're not ready to make a huge nutrition change, but know you need to do something, perhaps the Kick Start level is right for you. You'll be giving up beer, bread and sweets, and for many of us, that's enough. No matter your nutrition level, you'll be joined by a group of committed and motivated folks.
