We are grateful for our outstanding CrossFit community. Thirty people from 4 different gyms gathered together at our June 5th Friday Night Throwdown. The next Friday Night Throwdown will be at CrossFit Bozeman on July 10. We hope you will join us.
We are in week 6 of our 8 week spring Whole Life Challenge and we're all feeling great! I love hearing about people fitting into their skinny jeans, blood pressure dropping, sleeping better, less joint pain, clearer skin, etc. How fun to be a part of a community of such positive change. In fact, keeping a positivity journal is this week's Lifestyle Challenge. This week's challenge is simple, list three things for which you are grateful, or three positive things that happened during your day. For us coaches, this is easy. We are grateful every single day for all of you! You bring smiles and laughter to class. You bring great energy and a willingness to work hard. Every day you all impress us with what you're capable of doing! Thank you. Daily gratitude is a lifestyle practice that can sometimes be a challenge. We get going in our busy days, get frustrated and angry when things don't go as we wish they would go, get hooked by negative emotions, expect perfection, etc. But, taking just a few moments of reflective time during your day, to focus on something positive, can have profound and cascading affects for the rest of your day, your week, your month, your life.
