Thank goodness today's workout does not include a weight vest!
Today's workout is all about developing mental toughness. While every workout we do has a certain mental aspect, today we're asking you to work harder so you can do more work. How crazy is that? We are specifically working on grit, determination, willpower, perseverance, and the desire to do what no one else can do. If you look at the last time we did this workout, only 2 people, Coaches Jon and James made the time cut-off to continue. Who will make the time cut-off this year? Many of you have improved your double unders and rowing. Perhaps this time we'll double the number of folks who will continue on. This workout was inspired by the Triple 3 workout of the 2014 CrossFit Games. That workout is, for time, 3k row, 300 double unders, 3K run. When I wrote the 1/3 workout I got the order wrong. Today, we're doing it in the order it was written for the 2014 Games. This workout is about efficiency in the row, staying calm and focused during the double unders, and keeping a good and quick pace on the run. Good luck! By the way, the best Triple 3 times at the Games were by Kristin Holte at 36:07 and Rob Forte at 33:03. Today's Workout 1, 2 or 3 Rounds For Time of: 1000m Row 100 Double Unders 1000m Run If you complete the 1st round in 10 min or less, you will continue on to round 2. If you complete 2nd round in 20 min or less you will do a 3rd round. Compare to Aug 18, 2014 If you complete 1 or 2 rounds, you have a cash out. Complete, for time: 100 AbMat Sit-ups.
