Starting July 18, the Whole Life Challenge folks are launching a brand new Advanced Whole Life Challenge. The Advanced Challenge is about freedom—a life of your rules. Not a life of no rules, but one where you are clear on what is important to you, what it’s going to take to get you there, and that you have the commitment to see it all the way through. Rules don’t limit your freedom, they are the gateway to it. They are your way of guiding the energy you have towards your goals. They are like pre-decided answers to many of life’s important questions—when “that” happens, do “this.” Yes, they are boundaries, but they are the boundaries created by you to keep your energy from leaking in every direction. The trouble starts when you blindly accept someone else’s rules. Not that other people’s rules can’t work for you, but they can’t be blind. They will never give you any freedom until you make them your rules. When you understand why they’re going to work for you, they become yours. While pre-determined rules can be comforting, there are no absolutes—everything requires customizing. Depending on what want, you might need intensity; but it could also be that light activity will cut it for you. You could cut out sugar almost entirely, but you might also get the results you want even if you eat a little bit every day. Everything is a cost/benefit proposition. It’s up to you to decide what cost is worth what benefit. The Advanced Challenge is all about rules, but in a new way. You will focus on how you make choices and how to make rules. Do yours suit you? The Challenge requires you to ask a very important question every day—was what I did appropriate for where I am today, and effective for where I am headed? This daily question puts your interests squarely in focus and helps you develop a sense of what rules make sense for getting you ultimately where you want to be. Want to join our team? Click here.
