Today we are working on the snatch, one of the two Olympic weightlifting moments. The snatch is unparalleled in its ability to develop speed, coordination, agility and power. A heavy and fast snatch will transfer into many of life's athletic pursuits. It's all about being explosive and fast today. Good luck! Today's Workout Death by Snatch Starting with an empty barbell (weight of your choice) perform one snatch every minute on the minute, adding 10 pounds each minute. Snatch until you can't snatch anymore. Have you noticed our graffiti wall? We invite you to write something on the wall you would like to get rid of. During classes on Friday, you all are invited to take a sledgehammer to the wall and help us knock it down. Our "Who Programmed This?" contest starts on Monday. All 6 of our coaches have programmed 4 workouts during the next 4 weeks. We would like you to guess who programmed the workout of the day. We will have two winners, the person with the most correct choices and the person with the most choices. The coach that receives the most votes will win a massage:-)
